About G (Galeno Chua)

G is a strategy and sustainability coach and consultant from New Zealand.

He spent the first part of his career pioneering trampoline parks and climbing gyms from Kuwait to Bangkok, then shifted his career to social change entrepreneurship in 2014.

His approach to business and sustainability has won him the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation's Green Business Awards and helped push the sustainable business agenda for organizations such as the United Nations and Oxfam to the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Over the past 10 years, G has founded and handed over companies such as The Idea Consultancy, Cambodia’s leading social change company brand through succession planning.

Currently based out of Ōtautahi Christchurch, G is developing the Leading with Empathy programme to bring empathy and compassion into all levels of the workplace for better customer, company and community value.

He believes that parenting is the single greatest blockage to sustainability and lasting business, and is on a life long mission to improve conditions for young parents and children.

Why is our content free?

Because we didn’t invent empathy.

We’re story-tellers, facilitators, researchers and people who are progressing the work of past guides for this current generation of humanity.

As corny as it sounds, we truly believe we can make the world a better place.

One organization, one leader, one reader at a time.

So why should we keep our best research and content to ourselves?

We shouldn’t.

Sharing our findings so everyone can use it so everyone can use it and damage our planet and people just that little bit less is absolutely worthwhile. Wouldn’t you agree?

So how do we stay afloat?

We charge for our coaching, workshops, courses and bespoke consultation to people who benefit directly from our experience and expertise.

We are confident that empathetic practice leads to sustainable profits and wider, deeper impact for just about every organization, whether it be a business, government or NGO.

It’s a win-win.

In fact, it’s a win-win-win because it enables us to continue our research and pro bono work for everyone else who can’t afford it.
